"Gerry" was bought as a foal as he was one of the last sons of Parc Dafydd. He was shown as a youngster, he was virtually unbeaten as a 3yr old and won several championships. Only rarely shown as an adult, more 1st prizes and Championships followed.

I had him gelded at 12 as he was not being used and was not the easiest of stallions.

Sadly I lost him to cancer last year at 18yrs.

His daughter, Cyfareddol retained.

Lucy was bought as a 3yr old from an ad in H&H in 1986 She was broken to ride & drive. We showed her for a couple of years and she was rarely out of the top 3, often beating stallions in the same class. In 1988/89 she won numerous Championships and then in 1991/2/4 she produced three virtually identical black fillies, all by Tywysog (Tegan, Tywysoges & Tegryn)

Due to my need to downsize at the time, she went on loan and was then sold and became part of a driving pair doing weddings.

She and Tywysog were the start of my love for Nebo Black Magic bloodlines.

I aquired Twys after seeing an ad in H&H for him to go on loan for showing/breeding .I fell in love with him and we took him home and shortly after his owner, a young girl, asked if we wanted him, she would give him to us!

He was shown and won many championships, including two at the South of England show where he beat a cob stallion that had cost £10,000 at the Cob sales and then went onto beat Twyford Signal, who had been unbeaten that year shown by Len Bigley, into Reserve slot in the M&M championship.

I had 10 foals from Twys in the few years I owned him but when my relationship broke down I couldn't cope with two stallions and he was sold.

Aran is a real sweetie and the image of her grandsire. Bought at the cob sales as a 2yr old for the Hendy Brenin bloodline, she has bred all fillies but due to having to reduce in the 90's, none were kept.

She was broken at about 12yrs and we plodded around to keep my OH company until I fell off badly and broke my collar bone and that was that!

Sadly Aran was put to sleep in December 2009 as her arthritis had got quite severe and she was in pain so I couldn't let her suffer.

She is buried in the paddock with her friends.
